Lead Pastor Jackie Green, along side of her late husband, Pastor Robert, have been ministering here at Calvary for over 20 years. Ps. Robert graduated onto Glory, February 18th 2009. Since then God has faithfully raised up Ps. Jackie “for such a time as this,” in order to lead the growing congregation at Calvary.
Ps. Jackie is a second generation minister after her father,Ps. Fred Brenneman who helped found the church with his wife Dorothy. After the passing of Ps. Jackie’s parents, Pastors Robert & Jackie continued the work of shepherding the flock at Calvary.
It is Ps. Jackie’s heart to teach and to equip the church with the Word in a practical and down-to-earth manner, as well as lead them into the presence of the Lord through worship. Under her direction, the vision of the ministry will continue to be; the church being a lighthouse to the community and to fulfill Matthew 25.
Pastors Robert & Jackie have 9 wonderful children and many beautiful grandchildren.
Associate Pastor Brandon Green is a third generation minister after both his parents and grandparents. It is Ps. Brandon’s great joy to minister along side of his mother at Calvary Chapel of Praise, where he functions in a strong preaching anointing as well as ministering to the broken. One of Ps. Brandon’s giftings is in writing music and leading others in worship to the Lord.
In more recent years Ps. Brandon has had the privilege of ministering throughout Central America, Haiti, Africa and in various meetings. Ps. Brandon attended Elim Bible Institute and was also an intern with the New York School of Urban Ministry. Brandon and his wife, Natalie happily serve at Calvary, and they have one daughter, Jadah.
The staff team is led by the Lead Pastor. This team oversees the day-to-day ministry and operations of the church. The staff serve the congregation and are responsible for the development of the spiritual life of the church.
The Elders are members of the congregation, appointed by the Lead Pastor to help oversee the finances and direct the provision of the facilities needed by the church. They provide counsel to the Lead Pastor regarding the major financial commitments of the church.
The Overseers are ministers of respected congregations and ministries who love Calvary and its pastor and are willing to provide spiritual protection to the church. They may be called in to help in accountability matters relating to the Lead Pastor if requested to do so by the Pastors or Elders. The Overseers function apostolicly to our church.
